Our Repricing and Hold Policy

New Repricing and Hold Policy

Effective: 08/06/25; No exceptions

TL;DR: Cards $5 and under = No reprice ; Cards over $5 will only be repriced with substantial purchases. Holds are only available for the select group who hasn’t exploited it. We won’t adjust hold pricing. Stop ruining good things with selfishness.

Repricing: Cards $5.00 and under will not be repriced; We go through these 1-2 times per month and adjust pricing.

For cards above $5.00 you can request repricing if and only if you have already agreed to spend $50 or more on other products that are at their listed price; This is solely at our discretion.

Reasoning: There has been a large influx of buyers who wish to have large stacks of cards repriced when the pricing isn’t perfectly matching market value or in their favor. Yet, they want to keep the pricing on all cards that are lower than the running market. The fact is, we are a business and we need to make profit. Our goal isn’t to have every card exactly at market rate at all times. The market fluctuates and repricing takes time and holds up the flow of the store. Our goal is to remain reasonable; which we deem to be within the market range of roughly 10% at any given time (above or below). We base our pricing on the average total of comparable condition sold listings from TCGplayer.com; we take up to 15 sold listings and average the total. We do not use the Market Rate listed in the app. We also account for the trend graph and stock we have available.

Holds: We will no longer hold cards for anyone who has let their hold sit for longer than 2 weeks. For any person who has removed cards from hold after an extended period of time. If you have done this, you are no longer eligible for holds.

If you put a card on hold the price stays as listed without exception unless we choose to update it ourselves.

Reasoning: There has been a large number of people who think they can hold cards at peak pricing to then come weeks later and ask us to lower the price. This breaks the entire agreement of the hold and hurts the shop. Secondly, we only ever offered this to work as an asset to the community and to allow community members to better financially break up large purchases. However, it has turned into a place where people just look to exploit the shop without any care for how it affects our bottom line. Almost no shop offers this service because of these exact reasons. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN HONEST AND USED IT PROPERLY.
